Vanessa graduated as a Physiotherapist in 2011 in Colombia. A few years later she went to Spain to study a Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy at the Real Madrid Graduate School. After completion Vanessa went back to Colombia and worked at a sports rehabilitation centre. This experience led her to work with elite and sub-elite players from a wide range of sports.
The last few years she has worked as a teacher in two universities from Bogota, which allowed Vanessa to have an academic training in multiple musculoskeletal techniques and have an immersion in multi-disciplinary interventions in the sports field and a therapeutical approach to injury prevention.
Vanessa is very passionate about understanding the movement of the body from a biomechanical and holistic view to work from early stages of an injury and taking patients back on the field feeling stronger and more secure of their physical abilities.
In 2019 Vanessa came to Australia to learn from different cultures and boost her professional profile by learning another language. Vanessa is currently working under limited registration and has an Australian provider number.
All staff are caring, professional and make you feel welcome. I would highly recommend them no matter what your issue is they take the time to listen and offer expert advise and treatment.
I recently had an assessment with Larissa. Her knowledge, care and professionalism was outstanding. I can’t recommend her enough…
