Sophie is a Rockhampton local who graduated from Central Queensland University in 2020 with first class honours. She moved to Gladstone in January 2020 to begin her physiotherapy career at Physio & Fitness. Sophie’s special interest is in women’s health – specifically in antenatal and postnatal care. She has completed a placement at the Brisbane Mater Mothers Hospital working on the postnatal ward. Sophie has completed lots of professional development in this field, including level 1 pelvic health and women’s health through the life stages, as well as breast and lactation physiotherapy. Sophie enjoys assisting women with the management of mastitis, cracked nipples, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, chronic pelvic pain, pregnancy related conditions and returning to exercise postnatally. Sophie looks forward to addressing all of your musculoskeletal and women’s health needs!
