Courtney is a local from Calliope and studied her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at Central Queensland University in Rockhampton.
She has a professional interest in providing holistic health care to patients and a keen interest in rehabilitation. When someone has an injury, they are often really restricted initially and in a lot of pain. Courtney loves to help rehabilitate people from the tough initial stage and help them return to optimal function.
Courtney has been performing Women’s Health post-graduate training and can help you with pelvic floor dysfunction, as well as being able to assist with pelvic girdle pain and exercise in pregnancy and early post partum.
Courtney has gained experience from roles in five different hospitals. These involved the main physiotherapy disciplines (cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopaedic physiotherapy) and treating patients with chronic pain issues. Courtney is a pilates trained instructor and will be holding regular pilates classes.

Courtney enjoys volunteering in local sports clubs (Calliope Roosters Rugby League, Calliope Hack and Pony Club) and using her physiotherapy skills to help injured sports people (Rockhampton Netball Tournament).
Away from physio, Courtney has a passion for horses and a special interest in equestrian eventing. Courtney used to train and compete elite level competition horses in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
