Bridie Griffiths

Bridie is a local from Miriam Vale who studied her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at James Cook University in Townsville. She gained experience from different roles in the hospital setting throughout her university degree including musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, neurological, orthopaedic and paediatric. Bridie also had the opportunity to travel to Cambodia during her degree and provide healthcare to the community. She then spent a year working in a musculo skeletal clinic in Mackay before returning back to the area. Bridie was exposed to Pilates reformer machines in her role last year and is currently undertaking more training in this area. She loves getting members of the community back into a more active lifestyle free from injury. She has a special interest in neck pain and headaches.
