What is the difference between an Exercise Physiology and a Physiotherapy?
Exercise Physiology
- DESIGN, DELIVER and EVALUATE safe and effective exercise interventions for people with sub-acute to chronic conditions, injuries, or disabilities.
- Help to facilitate and optimize health status, function, recovery and independence to participate in activities at home, school, work, and in the community.
Physiotherapy
- ASSESS, DIAGNOSE, PLAN, and TREAT the care of patients across a broad range of areas and conditions.
- Help to restore movement and function and reduce injury risk through visual and hands on evaluation.
