Regina Curtin

In 2010, Regina received her BSc in Physiotherapy from Coventry University. Regina has worked predominantly in Private Practice since graduating, with a heavy involvement with high level sports teams. Her clinical experience includes; treating pre-and post-operative total hip, knee and shoulder replacements. Helping to guide her patients on their journey back to optimum functional health, through a series of treatment techniques, and rehabilitation exercise programs, designed specifically to each individual’s needs.

Regina is keenly interested in managing and preventing injuries in athletes of all ages and believes in educating athletes early to prevent injuries before they occur. Through her experience working with elite 3rd level (University College Cork), athletes in Ireland, Regina has honed her skills in treating knee and ankle injuries, as well as soft tissue and muscle injuries. She has completed certificates in Myofascial Trigger Point and Massage in a Sports Environment.

Regina feels passionate about educating and administering advice regarding postural related injuries and offers expert advice in ergonomics for administration staff especially. Regina strives towards improving function, reducing pain, correcting postural dysfunction and improving the body as a whole.

More recently Regina has moved into Woman’s Health as a special interest. She has completed herLevel 1 in Woman’s Health (WHAT). She is passionate in continuing her learning in this field, and treating woman with Pelvic Floor conditions, namely urinary, bowel and prolapse disorders. As well any pregnancy related musculoskeletal disorders.

Outside of work, Regina is a keen cyclist and runner, plus enjoys hiking. Regina loves preparing, cooking, and most importantly eating fresh organic food. Regina’s ethos is, what you put in, is what you will get out. A healthy diet is the key to achieving physical&mental health and wellbeing.
