Larissa Polkinghorne

Larissa graduated from a Master of Physiotherapy in Western Australia, following a Health Science degree with Honours in Psychology. In 2011 she and her husband moved to Gladstone where she worked alongside Klaas at the Physio shop for three years. They returned to Perth in 2015 where she continued to work in private practice.

Larissa is a musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and has experience in treating a wide range of injures, ensuring the latest evidence-based practice. She has a particular interest in low back, pelvic and neck pain/headaches and chronic/persistent pain presentations.

Larissa also holds post graduate qualifications in Continence and Women’s and Men’s Health from Curtin University Western Australia which has provided her with expertise in assisting with the management of pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, bladder and bowel incontinence, prolapse, and antenatal and postnatal care. Larissa is also a Certified Oncology Rehabilitation Therapist, providing individualised care to women and men during their cancer journey.
