Pilates Intermediate
A progression from the Pilates Foundation class. This class incorporates the basic techniques and combines them with movement and strengthening exercises. This class will improve your flexibility, co-ordination, fluidity, endurance, precision and stamina and is the best method of exercise for those with all types of aches, pains, conditions, bad postures and injuries.
Mainly floor work/mat work, but the instructor may incorporate Pilates equipment including the reformer, cadillac, chi ball, theraband and magic circle.
Reformer Intermediate
A progression from the Reformer Foundation class. This class incorporates the basic reformer techniques and combines them with movement and strengthening exercises.
The Reformer is a key component of the Clinical Pilates system and consists of a series of springs, straps and pulleys on a frame with a gliding platform. All of which can be adjusted to suit any fitness level or injury. Reformer classes are designed to create muscle tone, develop strength, endurance, improve flexibility and most importantly – provide a fun exercise option.
Pregnant ladies are welcome to attend this class, but please notify the instructor prior to the class commencing. If you are pregnant, we also highly recommend a free assessment with one of our Women’s Health Physiotherapists prior to attending your first class.
